Code, nerd culture and humor from Greg Knauss.

So yesterday I'm driving in to work and the license plate on the car in front of me says: 4 YOGESH.

Which, of course, I read as "For Yog E'sh."

Naturally, I figure that the car must be a gift to one of the minor Elder Gods from one of the major ones -- Yog Sohtoth or Hastur or Cthulhu or someone. Maybe Yog E'sh is a favorite nephew.

And, in fact, there's a "Miskatonic U." decal on the back window and the car has a "Happiness is living in R'lyeth" license plate frame and on the bumper is an "Old Ones do it with right angles acting as obtuse" sticker.

And the guy driving is a many-tentacled nightmare with a thousand unblinking eyes.

Today I'm driving in to work and the license plate on the car in front of me says: D POTEET.

Which, of course, I read as "The Poteet."

I'm still working on it.

Hi there! My name's GREG KNAUSS and I like to make things.

Some of those things are software (like Romantimatic), Web sites (like the Webby-nominated Metababy and The American People) and stories (for Web sites like Suck and Fray, print magazines like Worth and Macworld, and books like "Things I Learned About My Dad" and "Rainy Day Fun and Games for Toddler and Total Bastard").

My e-mail address is greg@eod.com. I'd love to hear from you!
